The song entitled "Marry your Daughter" is the one that I hope to dance to at my wedding day. I chose this song because its lyrics speak a lot of beautiful things like sweet promises which I hope to hear from a man whom I hope to spend my life with. :)
"Marry your Daughter" is originally sung by Brian McKnight Jr. and his son Niko McKnight (BRKN RBTZ). Brian McKnight (born June 5, 1969) is an American R&B singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, and musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays eight instruments including piano, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet. McKnight's work has earned him 16 Grammy Awards nominations.
Meanwhile, the song entitled "Lift Up Your Hands" is one that I would like played at my funeral. When people heard this song at that day, I want them to remember that I am already with God and that I am happy with the life that I have for God has already taken all of the burdens that I have. So, there's no need for them to worry much. :)
"Lift Up Your Hands" is originally sung by Basil Valdez and composed by Cecille Azarcon – Picasso. This song was released in the year 1980 and has become a standard in church services and spiritual retreats. In 1983, it won the Best Religious Song Category: Song of the Year Award.
