The Anthem of ME ;)

The song "This is Me" is the one that I considered as the anthem that really fits my childhood. Whenever I listen to this song, I felt like I am the one who is being described by the lyrics as it tells about some of my childhood personalities such as having a very low self-esteem. I didn't have enough courage to show to anyone what am I capable of doing. Then as time passed by, I suddenly found the courage to come out from my own shell, my own dark and empty world. Until then, I started to believe in myself, to unhide the greatness that is inside of me, and to let the light shine to my life. I could now say that this is the real me. This is ME. ;) And because of that, I also consider this song as the anthem of my life. :)

"This Is Me", is a song by Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas from the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock. It was released by Walt Disney Records on June 17, 2008.

Our Song

When I dedicate a song to someone special in my heart, I want to express everything I love about him. And so, I choose the song entitled "Everything about You" by Darlene Zschech. This song tells about how grateful a person is for having found that man/woman who is meant for him/her and who loves him/her beyond description. This song is the one that I also want someone I love to dedicate for me. In that way, we can create our theme song. ;)

"Everything about You" is a song written by Mark Zschech, husband of Darlene Zschech. It is taken from the album Kiss of Heaven, the first solo album released in 10 years by Hillsong Church's worship pastor, Darlene Zschech.

This is Me

Everyone of us has his own story of life. And in our story, there is that particular song that describes it.  For me, it is the song "This is Me" that best describes my life. The song itself tells who I was before, a typical girl who usually hid myself from the crowd. I didn't have that much confidence to show the greatness that is inside of me. But now, I realized that it's time for me to come out from the dark, believe in myself and show the world what I've got. Now I could say, "This is me!" :)

"This Is Me", is a song by Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas from the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock and was featured on the film's soundtrack as the fourth and final single. It premiered on Radio Disney on June 6, 2008 and was released by Walt Disney Records onto the iTunes Store on June 17, 2008.

Words and Melody

Whenever I feel down or depressed, I just listen to the song entitled "What Faith Can Do." From the title itself down to its lyrics, this song encourages us to turn to God whenever we face great struggles in life for nothing is impossible to Him. That's what faith can do. ;)

"What Faith Can Do" is a song taken from the sixth studio album "It is Well" by Kutless, a Christian rock band formed in 2000. It is also Kutless' first #1 on the Christian Songs airplay list.  Kutless' lead singer, Jon Micah Sumrall, told NewReleaseTuesday about the track "That song seems to be an example of touching people and us as a band in the 'right place at the right time.'

Check this out! :
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

When I am angry or hyped, I just listen to the song "None but Jesus" to calm myself down. Regardless of its lyrics, this song could cool me down because of its very soft and pleasant melody. The voice of the singer is also angelic which adds to its soothing effect. :)

"None but Jesus" is written and performed by Brooke Fraser and taken from United We Stand, the seventh live praise and worship album by the Hillsong United. Hillsong United band. is a worship band that originated as a part of Hillsong Church. Formed in 1998 as part of Hillsong's youth ministry, the band consists of several rotating worship leaders from the church, including Brooke Fraser, Joel Houston, Reuben Morgan and Marty Sampson.

Love in its Kinds

When I listen the song "Abba Father", I eventually remember my first true love which I only found in God. It's lyrics tell about the deep, great, overwhelming, and never-ending love of God which I could never find from someone. Indeed, it's an agape love! :)

"Abba Father" is originally sung  by Planetshakers and appears on the live album This is our Time which was released on October 21, 2014. Integrity Music worked with John Hunt in the production of this album. Signaling in a four star review from Louder Than the Music, Jono Davies said, "'This Is Our Time' is an album about raising up people who are ready to fall in love with God and do His work in the world. If you want to be inspired and uplifted then this is the album for you."

Meanwhile, "Everlasting Love" is the song that tells me the love that I want to have for the rest of my life. From the title itself, I want to have that love that would never ends, the love that is meant 'till eternity. It's indeed a pragma or longstanding kind if love! ;)

This song is written by Buzz Cason and Mac Gayden and performed by Sara Paxton, Adrienne Bailon, Alexander DiPersia, Jane Seymour, Tom Wopat and the other casts of the movie Lovestruck: The Musical.

Everlasting LOVELYrics:

Like the sun that shines
Endlessly shines
You always will be mine

It's eternal love

When other loves are gone

Ours will be strong

We have our very own
Everlasting love

Inspire and Expire

The song entitled "Marry your Daughter" is the one that I hope to dance to at my wedding day. I chose this song because its lyrics speak a lot of beautiful things like sweet promises which I hope to hear from a man whom I hope to spend my life with. :)

"Marry your Daughter" is originally sung by Brian McKnight Jr. and his son Niko McKnight (BRKN RBTZ). Brian McKnight (born June 5, 1969) is an American R&B singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, and musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays eight instruments including piano, guitar, bass guitar, percussion, trombone, tuba, flugelhorn and trumpet. McKnight's work has earned him 16 Grammy Awards nominations.

Meanwhile, the song entitled "Lift Up Your Hands" is one that I would like played at my funeral. When people heard this song at that day, I want them to remember that I am already with God and that I am happy with the life that I have for God has already taken all of the burdens that I have. So, there's no need for them to worry much. :)

"Lift Up Your Hands" is originally sung by Basil Valdez and composed by Cecille Azarcon – Picasso. This song was released in the year 1980 and has become a standard in church services and spiritual retreats. In 1983, it won the Best Religious Song Category: Song of the Year Award.

Thinking of You

It is the song entitled “Thank You” by Rachelle Ann Go that reminds me of someone who is important to me. From the title itself, this song meant a lot for me because it makes me remember of those people who became a very big part of my life and who inspires me through life’s ups and downs.

Behind the Song:
The song “Thank You” is written by singer-composer Yman and produced by Alwyn Cruz. It is taken from “I Care”, the second studio album by Filipino singer Rachelle Ann Go, released in the Philippines on January 10, 2006 by VIVA Records. The album is an immediate follow-up to her successful self-titled debut album.

Meanwhile, it is the song entitled “Growing in Jesus” that people can listen to to remind them of me. I chose this song because they know that I really love to sing Christian songs and its title also speaks about me, a girl who is growing mature in Jesus. :)

This song is particularly sung by Mendrell Asidor, one of the members of a family of talented singers and musicians. This family forms into a band called “The Asidors” which composed of siblings namely Mendrell or Endy and Milcah [for vocals], Wincerlove [for saxocomb and vocals], Winner for [bass guitar and vocals], Huly Ray [for keyboard] and Ximdrake [for keyboard drums], who have the experience in performing nationwide even international to share Jesus and His love.

Break it Up!

I really love to listen the song entitled “Breaking Free” for the reason that it has a very joyful melody to the point that it could make me dance. I love also how the singers blend their voices together.

This song is taken from my favorite movie entitled High School Musical and sung by two high school Juniors from rival cliques – Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens). High School Musical is a 2006 American teen/romantic comedy musical television film and the first installment in the High School Musical trilogy. The trilogy was directed by Kenny Ortega. Upon its release on January 20, 2006, it became the most successful film that Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) ever produced, with a television sequel, High School Musical 2, released in 2007 and the feature film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, released theatrically in October 2008. It is the first and only DCOM to have a theatrical sequel. The film's soundtrack was the best-selling album in the United States for 2006.

Another song that I love is “Turn it Up” by my ever favorite band called "The Planetshakers". Just like Breaking Free, this song also is a very joyful one that whenever I listen to it, it enables me to reveal my dancing skills or awesome moves. Yeah, praise God for these talents! :)
Forming for the first Planetshakers Conference in 1997, Planetshakers is passionate to see generations worlwide unite together to worship God. Hailing originally from Adelaide, the Planetshakers band is now based in Melbourne at Planetshakers Church under the leadership of Senior Pastors Russel and Sam Evans.

Hapgic Love Songs

There are really songs that could make you think of happy love and a tragic love.
**

Well, the song entitled "Me Too" is one that makes me think of a happy love. It is because it reminds me of a happy ending of the movie entitled "Lovestruck Musical" wherein the two engaged lovers were proved to be faithful and compatible to each other as they overcome various trials and misunderstandings along the way before getting married. The message of the song is also about exchanging of vows between the two lovers which makes me think of a happy love story.

The song "Me Too" is performed by Sara Paxton and Jeff Lewis (singing voice of Marco Vitturi) in Lovestruck: The Musical, an American romance jukebox musical television film that premiered on April 21, 2013 on ABC Family.

Meanwhile, the song entitled "Stay" is one that makes me think of a tragic love for the reason that its lyrics convey a very sad message in which a girl kept on asking why the person he loves left her when he said that love conquers all. Moreover, the singer of this song sounds so sad and emotional that she somehow captured my emotions.

The song "Stay" is originally sung by Carol Banawa. In 2001, Carol released Transition. This album remarks her musical refinement and maturity. The most well-known song in this album is the song "Stay" which she performed with Jay Durias, vocalist of the band South Border. Carol dedicated the said song in loving memory of her older brother, Alexander, who died tragically in 1999 due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Joy and Sadness

There is really that particular song that could make you happy or sad.
     Do you agree?

Well, talking about the song that could make me happy, "Living for You" is one that I could mention. It is a song particularly sang by David Moore of Gateway Worship, an American Christian worship band which leads worship at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas.

Whenever I hear this song, my heart eventually sing for joy. It is because it reminds me of the 2016 Thanksgiving Celebration of our JIL Church wherein I was one who leads the people into praise as we did our dancing presentation. Aside from that, it reminds me of the feeling that true joy can only be found in the presence of God.

On the other hand, the song entitled "Hoshi No Nagareru Yuro Ni" which means "The Night Where Stars Fall" is a song that could make me sad. It is a song written by Kookies and sang by Kisaragi Megumi, a Japanese performer. Actually, this song is taken from the anime entitled Special A and sung by a character named Megumi.

Despite that I couldn't understand the lyrics of this song (haha), still it could effectively and undeniably make me sad for the reason that this song was the one that I usually sang when I spent my vacation together with my relatives and my beloved grandmother in those times that my family was away from home. Thus, this song could make me reminisce of those precious times that I have shared with them and especially that it has a very sad melody.
