exchanging of vows between the two lovers which makes me think of a happy love
story.

makes me think of a tragic love for the reason that its lyrics convey a very
sad message in which a girl kept on asking why the person he loves left her
when he said that love conquers all. Moreover, the singer of this song sounds so sad and emotional that she somehow captured my emotions.
The song "Stay" is originally sung by Carol Banawa. In 2001, Carol released Transition. This album remarks her musical refinement and maturity. The most well-known song in this album is the song "Stay" which she performed with Jay Durias, vocalist of the band South Border. Carol dedicated the said song in loving memory of her older brother, Alexander, who died tragically in 1999 due to carbon monoxide poisoning.
